Christmas Decoration Drive…

Hopefully you are all as excited about Christmas as we are and are busy delving into attics, cupboards and storage for your decorations.

We need your help!

Once you have untangled yourself from the knotted lights and caught the runaway baubles, you may consider replacing some of your decorations.

Please consider donating anything you will no longer need or use to the centre.  The mischievous elves have been busy and our decorations are starting to look very tired.

CAR BOOT SALE CANCELLATION

Unfortunately, the decision has been made to close down the running of the Car Boot Sales with immediate effect.

There are many factors involved in this decision including a lot of valuable feedback, available resources and future plans for the Centre.

We would like to thank everyone who supported us and helped it grow and develop (Sellers, Buyers and Volunteers).  We’ve had a lot of fun getting to know all of you over the last few months and hope that you will continue to support the centre as it moves forward with its development and future events in the pipeline.

Tea & Tunes Review

The Tea & Tunes event last weekend (26th August 2017) was the first of it’s type and if the feedback is anything to go by, it won’t be the last with comments like:

This was a lovely trip down memory lane!

Will this be a regular event?

A selection of 40’s, 50’s and 60’s Music was provided free of charge by The Live 45’s and was very well received.  There was a lot of singing along and there was even dancing in the aisles!

A wonderful selection of cakes and biscuits were provided free of charge by our local Co-op on Cranleigh Road as part of their community fund.

Thank you Cranleigh Road Coop for the delicious donations for Tea and Tunes at the Beaufort Centre.

A massive thank you to all those that donated time, food, music and manpower to make it happen and to all those who attended, making it such an enjoyable afternoon.
