Centre updates

To our Community…

Due to the current situation we are closing the community centre to the public, as a venue, from the close of business on Friday 20th March, until such time as the Government advise us further. This is not due to any cause other than following the Government advice regarding educational facilities and social distancing requirements. If you need to contact the centre for any reason please email us at enquiries@beaufortca.org

Our Childcare Group will remain open from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday. This service will only be available to qualifying Key workers as defined by the government. If you are a Key worker and need further information, please contact our Childcare setting directly on 01202 436177.

The Beaufort Community Association Trustees and Staff would like to emphasise the importance of doing everything we can to stay safe and help stop the spread of this virus. Please look out for one another and help those most in need wherever you can. We look forward to bringing our community together again when this all passes.

Community Fun Day Thanks

Saturday 7th July saw a frenzy of activity at the Centre and we want to thank all the various Volunteers, Staff & Traders who gave up their time and energy to help make it such an enjoyable day.

Additional thanks go out to all the Visitors that came to support the day and see what was going on despite the scorching heat and the World Cup Quarter Final.

Unfortunately the Barn Dance could not go ahead due to lack of numbers but next year we hopefully won’t be competing with the National Football Squad!

Everyone we spoke to on the day had a smile on their face and we look forward to being able to offer more community events in the future.

If you would like to be kept informed then please consider becoming a volunteer or subscribing to our website and following us on Facebook.

Do you have 3 minutes? We need your feedback…

Exciting times ahead for your local Community Centre!

The Trustees and staff are working tirelessly to vastly enhance the facilities available to our users and the community as a whole which involves fundraising, applications and a lot of paperwork.

To this end, we would be most grateful if you could take 3 minutes of your time to complete the questionnaire on the link below*

The responses to this questionnaire are critical to improving our chances of getting further funding to make these plans a reality.

The Trustees and staff would like to thank you for your feedback and continued support.

*hard copies of the questionnaire are available to be collected and completed in our Main Reception.

Beaufort Community Centre needs your Tokens!

Waitrose as part of their Community Matters Scheme has selected Beaufort Community Centre as one of their chosen good causes for May 2018.  This is a fantastic opportunity for the centre.

Every time anybody shops in Waitrose (Christchurch Branch) in May, they will be given a Token to allocate to a chosen good cause.

The more tokens we can generate, the bigger the donation we will receive so we need your help!  Please donate your tokens to us in store….

Over the last 2 years, a lot of changes and forward developments at the centre have been made possible by people and organisations donating precious time and funding.  We have lots more planned but we do need everyone to do their bit with schemes like this.

Thank you to everyone who has shown and continues to show that support.
