CAR BOOT SALE CANCELLATION

Unfortunately, the decision has been made to close down the running of the Car Boot Sales with immediate effect.

There are many factors involved in this decision including a lot of valuable feedback, available resources and future plans for the Centre.

We would like to thank everyone who supported us and helped it grow and develop (Sellers, Buyers and Volunteers).  We’ve had a lot of fun getting to know all of you over the last few months and hope that you will continue to support the centre as it moves forward with its development and future events in the pipeline.

Tea & Tunes Review

The Tea & Tunes event last weekend (26th August 2017) was the first of it’s type and if the feedback is anything to go by, it won’t be the last with comments like:

This was a lovely trip down memory lane!

Will this be a regular event?

A selection of 40’s, 50’s and 60’s Music was provided free of charge by The Live 45’s and was very well received.  There was a lot of singing along and there was even dancing in the aisles!

A wonderful selection of cakes and biscuits were provided free of charge by our local Co-op on Cranleigh Road as part of their community fund.

Thank you Cranleigh Road Coop for the delicious donations for Tea and Tunes at the Beaufort Centre.
Thank you Cranleigh Road Coop for the delicious donations for Tea and Tunes at the Beaufort Centre.

A massive thank you to all those that donated time, food, music and manpower to make it happen and to all those who attended, making it such an enjoyable afternoon.

A total of £50 in donations was raised which will continue to help
the centre moving forward.

Centre updates

CAR PARK CLOSURE – 24 & 25 JULY 2017

You may or may not be aware that, in April, the Centre had to close the car park for the Council to carry out critical safety repairs.

As it is nearly the Summer Holidays, they are returning to complete stage 2 of these repairs!

During this time, to ensure safe completion of the repairs and to allow the works to properly set before cars drive over them, the Car Park will remain closed.
